Wishing all of you Happy Holidays. May your wishes come true.

Happy Thanksgiving!

November 27th, 2014 | Posted by Anastacia Martinez in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

The hustle and bustle has begun! With travel, shopping, and eating on everyone’s mind we wanted to spend a moment in saying Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Have a peaceful, safe and joyous thanksgiving.

We are just a few days from Thanksgiving, and Christmas and New Years are just around the corner. Although for many the holidays are a time of joy and happiness, for some this time of year can be difficult. When family reunites it can be exciting and stressful all at the same time. If life seems overwhelming always remember that simply talking to a friend or seeking help from a professional can provide the best relief.

Veterans Days

November 10th, 2014 | Posted by Anastacia Martinez in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

With Veteran’s Day approaching we wanted to take the time to thank all of the active military and veterans that have sacrificed so much for our country. The selfless decision to serve our country is one that should be recognized not just on national holidays but daily. Thank you to all who are currently serving and have served in our armed forces as well as their families.

Greetings! My name is Rebecca Moreno and I am happy to introduce myself as the newest member of Anastacia Martinez’s team. I am a graduate student with Grand Canyon University and will be completing my internship over the next 10 months. I look forward to learning from this experience and hope to grow with the knowledge that Mrs. Martinez has to offer.

We understand that long distant relationships are not always easy. Keeping an open channel communication is crucial for maintaining a healthy alliance between partners. At our office we are able to provide counseling sessions between couples, no matter the distance, either over skype or through telephone.

Welcome to our Website Military Families. As advertised in “The Bugle”- we provide counseling to couples and individuals with concerns raging from communication, anger, stress and depression- among others.
We are located close to Main Post. Tricare and Military One Source referrals are accepted.

Divorce Poison

August 22nd, 2014 | Posted by Anastacia Martinez in Parenting - (0 Comments)

Your ex has been carrying a campaign to brainwash your children against you. how can this behavior be identified?
There is no guilt when the other parent is mistreated.
There are trivial explanations for the hatred.
Polarization: The alienated parent is all bad in the eyes of the child.
The child thinks this is his truth, without acknowledging the influence of the alienating parent.
The child tends to repeat things he/she has heard the alienating parent said about the alienated parent.
The child minimized the contributions and well wishes of the alienated parent.
Unfortunately, this is a very difficult situation to overcome.

Alienated parents can benefit from therapy to seek affirmation of their value as parents, and avoid defeatist attitude about
the situation as well as heal from the trauma of the separation.

Robin Williams

August 18th, 2014 | Posted by Anastacia Martinez in Uncategorized - (0 Comments)

We have all been saddened by the news of Robin Williams suicide. Not only that, but for those already suffering from depression there is a fear that “that can happen to me”.
Following through with suicide is more complex than people think. It takes intention, planning and an absolute feeling that there is not other solution to their emotional pain.
If you are wondering whether or not it might happen to you, SEEK HELP- talk to someone- reach out. Like many people in the Williams case, we wish we could had been there to help lend a hand,
so for you there is someone- REACH OUT.
